About My Corner Art Studio
My Corner Community Limited Company, officially opened in 2022, is a professional and long-term art training hub that is completely free of charge and dedicated to developing career opportunities for children with autism spectrum disorder.
Mission
We aim to create a nurturing environment where special needs children can socialize, develop their artistic talents, express themselves through art, and promote normative social behavior. My Corner empowers children to recognize the value of “social integration” through learning, working, and financial independence, aiming for a brighter future.
Vision
Our vision extends beyond Ho Chi Minh City and Vietnam. We aspire to expand this model to numerous provinces, creating a network of centers where children with autism can have greater access to this project.

The Story of Dorjee & The Inspiration of "My Corner"
Having Dorjee at the age of 40, I always yearned for a peaceful life for my child. But everything almost fell apart when he was diagnosed with autism spectrum syndrome at 15 months. After 10 long years to find the best method of raising him, I constantly pondered the question “Whether the international environment and integration center are the best choice for my child?”
And I found the answer during the time of Covid-19. Applying Homeschooling, I found that the school program was too difficult for my child while not being able to cultivate the special skills that my child has. He has a special passion for painting and the art of Origami. Instead of having difficulty reading and comprehension, Dorjee gradually changed more positively when he developed drawing techniques and other skills: piano and singing,… He began to express his feelings and thoughts through art. After a few years – something I had never noticed in him before.
Standing in front of the “treasure” of my son’s work, I realized that the autism spectrum is not a barrier to creativity, on the contrary, it makes him able to focus on details and feel how to use Colors to interact with each other. The beauty of Dorjee’s young mind and heart becomes clearer as art conveys, and I’m lucky to have found that answer in my journey of motherhood.
Dorjee is the reason My Corner Art Studio was born. Thanks to my son, I learned the most valuable things about being a mother, which are patience, love, and willingness to sacrifice for my kid unconditionally, with the only wish to see my child’s progress. With a starting point of zero, from an ordinary woman with a stronger spirit than anyone else. Dorjee inspired me to build My Corner Art Studio – a place to teach painting to autistic children, connect families with children with autism, and spread meaningful values to the community.
